Chili
Hey all! This month is NATIONAL CHILI MONTH! Here are a few recipe's that I have tried and/or thought looked tasty. If you happen to try one, let me know. :)
A good three bean Veggie chili
A yummy Turkey Chili.
Okay, here is another good sounding Turkey Chili (especially since it's calling for eft over Thanksgiving turkey).
A mouth watering beef and all the fixin's kinda chili.
One last recipe for you. I know it's not exactly chili but it sure did look and sound good.

Today is probably the best random national day ever. Today, October 16th, is NATIONAL FOOD DAY! So why don't you get out there and eat whatever the heck you want. Not that you don't normally, but today you can claim that you are celebrating. :)

These are donuts from Voodoo Donuts (on SW 3rd Avenue). Go check them out if your in Portland and have a donut craving. They will have exactly what you will be looking for and then some, promise. :)

The BEST ice cream EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just saw this in the ice cream isle this morning and about died with excitement. There are a few girls who may recall the first time I tried this wonderful concoction several years ago (I think it was back in the days of living with Lisa). I think I literally almost cried it was so good. Who knew there would be actual chunks of the best girl scout cookie ever nestled into deliciously light vanilla and caramel ice cream. I mean, seriously, life just almost doesn't get better than that. SO GOOD!!!

Biography poem
I liked Beks poem so I stole it to do for myself. Enjoy!
Tabitha
Who is quirky, fun, spunky, crazy, neurotic, and energetic.
Sister of Guy and Samantha
Who loves Vitatops, rain, Europe, good movies, going for walks, mailing people cards, , "weekend catch-up" with Kristin on Monday mornings, Lunch on Thursdays with her daddy, that her boyfriend orders dessert at dinner (especially when he shares), family and close friends.
Who feels loved, a sense of accomplishment after running a race, and mean at times.
Who needs forgiveness, to be heard, validation, and a good brow waxing.
Who gives her friends “judgment-free” zones, her boyfriend a hard time for driving slow and good restaurant/food recommendations.
Who fears ALL bugs, strange sounds, and getting injured badly to where I can’t run.
Who would like to see her kitchen and bathroom clean and her fridge full of her favorite foods, her sister move to Boring, Oregon, and New York City.
Who shares her secrets, her food finds, and tea and good books with her daddy.
Resident of the great, amazing state of Oregon
Who is a secretary, a fast runner, an Army brat, the baby of the family, learning to be a good friend.
Insert last name if you know what it is...I'm not putting it on here. :)

Getting along
So... my oldest friend Dave came into town a few weeks ago and it was so great to see him again (and so soon after my visit to Colorado). He even got his girlfriend Megan to come to town and it was good to see her smiling face again, too! I was excited because Dave and Andrew finally got to meet after hearing so much about each other. I think they might like each other a bit too much and are too similar in their sense of humor for comfort.

Oh, and if anyone is curious... it has been three months since I met this crazy kid named Andrew. :) It's been a roller coaster ride. Lots of fun times have happened in that time. I think I'll go ahead and keep around a little longer...I'm not tired of him yet.
Now, I just hope he agrees. :)
