some facts for you to ponder...

Yesterday was National Cheeseball Day. I haven't eaten these in so long but I so remembering eating them in my younger years. Oh boy were they delicious! And I so loved that round bin they were in, with the yellow lid that popped off. .
I can't say I was biased, anything that was cheese covered and puffy was a favorite of mine back in day, just ask my dad.

Today is National Animal Crackers Day. Oh, it takes me back to my childhood (shut up Jenny Z)....mmmmmm....

Word of the day:
deus ex machina \DAY-us-eks-MAH-kih-nuh\ noun

1. A person or event that provides a sudden and unexpected solution to a difficulty.
2. In Greek and Roman drama, a god lowered by stage machinery to resolve a plot or extricate the protagonist from a difficult situation.
3. An unexpected, artificial, or improbable character, device, or event introduced suddenly in a work of fiction or drama to resolve a situation or untangle a plot.

Example sentence:
I don't have one, I just thought it was a fun word so I had to put it up here. Anyone want to try and help me out here?

Second word of the day:
bedaub \bih-DOB\, transitive verb:

1. To smudge over; to besmear or soil with anything thick and dirty.
2. To overdecorate; to ornament showily or excessively.

Example sentance:
The Student Ministries office has not been, nor probably ever will be, what anyone would call debaubed. :)

Third word of the day:
earjacking:
1. Eavesdropping on a conversation that you have no business hearing.
2. Making your friends listen to horrible music against their will.
3. (this is my favorite because I've seen it in action) Talking someone's ear off; Rambling on while not getting to the point (jaw-jabbin); Trying to engage someone in a long-winded conversation who is obviously trying to get to the point and get on with thier day; Also known as being held as a "conversation hostage".

I'm not giving any sentances for these, I'll let you come up with some on your own. Feel free to post them in the comments if you wish to share. :)
