It is September 22nd and the Fall season has officially begun...and I am officially EXCITED about it!! I love fall (or autumn) so very much. It is definitely my favorite season of all! It's colder and people have to bundle up and get on cozy jackets and scarves. The mornings are wonderfully crisp and smell so good I just want to bottle it up into a room spray. I do understand that it can rain quite a bit in fall but ya know, it's a good thing I'm a true blue Oregonian and love the rain.

And who can forget the wonderful fall colors that the leaves start turning.Oh my goodness, God really pulls out all the stops during this great season. Anyway, just wanted to share my joy and excitement with all you out there in blogger world as we move into my favorite season of the year. Does anyone else agree with me on this or do I stand alone in this crazy love of mine?

me to a T

In case your curious or just didn't know...this is me.
That's what you get when you come across the baby of the family who pretty
much grew up as an only child.

By the way, if you haven't ever read Roger Hargreave's books you should really check them out...especially if you have kids. They are the best!

Another notch in the weird stick

I am a true Oregonian. Want to know how I know this? I love the rain...probably a little too much. Today, as I was walking past the front doors of the church building I caught the whiff of something that reminded me of that wonderful smell of rain on a crisp fall afternoon. I got sad because I haven't smelled that wonderful scent in so long. I then began to hope and pray that it would rain soon...a lot. :)

Yep...I'm a truly weird Oregonian. And proud of it!

Interesting world of animals

I must confess something to you, blogger world. I am a people magazine reader. It's true. And I am not (too) ashamed. :) Really, thought, it's a fun magazine to read with not only articles about movies and hollywood peeps, but articles about the average joe who has decided to help his/her community and even reach out to the world. Sometimes I wish I could learn something from these people.

People magazine will also have random articles about random happenings or sightings around "town" which are just fun, cute, heartfelt, whathaveyou. The two that have recently caught my eye were the four eared cat and two legged dog. Check out these pictures and videos.

Yoda the cat:
Faith the dog:

Yeah, I know. I have too much time on my hands and not even good reading material.
