The above two pictures are me at 26 weeks. Look how helpful my little guy already is. I think I'll be careful from here on out though...and only put cold drinks on my belly. Don't need any third degree burns, thank you.
And here is week 28...not a big difference. But man oh man, am I getting big or what? Well, my belly is getting big.
At my last appointment my doctor said that Jelly Bean could be a big baby...not sure what that will mean down the road. She said she wants to do an ultrasound at the next appointment to check weight and such. So, I'll guess we'll see. Oh, and I had my glucose test and I do not have gestational diabetes. Not that I really thought I did but you never know what they are going to tell you. Big load off my shoulders though with both Thanksgiving and Christmas right around the corner.
Speaking of Thanksgiving...
Thanksgiving with the McAllister and Jones clans was quite good this year! All kinds of yummy food and lots of laughs.

It's been a long time
Sorry I haven't been very good and keeping up with my blogging. Here's how things have been since I posted last.
And such a great looking little man too!
I should say that I have been feeling SO SO SO SO much better since I entered the 2nd trimester. No more morning sickness. Phew.
Now it's on to heartburn. Yay. :)
One way we celebrated baby's 22nd week was by taking my parents and
And then last night we said goodbye to some friends of ours and a pastor at our church, Dan and Karina Franklin. They are expecting their 3rd boy. Karina is about 2 weeks behind me but you wouldn't know it looking at the pictures below. She was smart and wore black. Ha!
Oh, and I should mention that I've been feeling loads of movement.
SO FUN!!!
In fact, this very morning he's been so active it's crazy. I can't figure out what I could have possibly eaten that made him so excited. Maybe he just loves the ladies that I work with. I do know that he already seems to know his daddy's voice. Saturday Rachel and I couldn't get him to move at all but as soon as Scott came home he began jumping around. It was great and such a fun moment for us parents. :)

13 week appt
Well, things are moving along nicely in pregnancy land. I'm finally getting out of the nauseas period of the 1st trimester and moving (very thankfully) into the easy going 2nd trimester. Tuesday we went in and had an ultrasound to screen for down syndrome and trisome 18. Oh my word, the baby looked crazy amazing on the screen!
So many features already! Baby Jones was rolling all around and kicking it's feet and moving it's hands around...I LOVED EVERY SECOND OF IT! The feet, oh the feet are already looking like little feet and we could see the spine...amazing! It's already looking like a sweet little baby! Oh, and we finally got to hear the heart beat. Wow! It's so so fast! I mean...wow. The Lord is so amazing, right?!!
This ultrasound totally rocked our world. It feels SO much more real now! Still don't know what we are having, I believe we'll find out early September. Can't wait!
Today's appointment went very great, everything seems to be moving along nicely according to our doc. She had a bit of a hard time finding the heart beat, found it for about 5 seconds 3 different times. "I'm chasing a moving target." I was just thinking, "My kid is active, I love it!" ... can't wait to feel it soon! :)
Not much of a baby bump yet...probably just food and bloating at this point. :)
