And thats all I have to say about that...

Boys are stupid! Okay, not all boys...but a lot of them. Maybe I should say that they are clueless, that might be a better word. But it doesn't help their cause any. They can be so annoying sometimes, too. Just wanted to speak my peace on that issue.
Also...

This week is National Egg Salad Week. I haven't made egg salad in a while, maybe I'll have to do that tonight, get in a little late celebrating.

April 11, yesterday, was National Cheese Fondue Day. Mmmm...fondue...

April is Fresh Florida Tomato Month. Oh, I how I love tomatoes! They are so good and so very good for you! Can't beat that combo.

Bowling with dad

This monday night my dad and I decided we wanted to try our hand at bowling. It had been a long time for both of us (probably more so for my dad than me). My dad was super cute cause he kept giving me pointers on where to stand, what to aim for (not the pins as you might think, but the third little arrow on the right). It was a fun time and we might just have to do it again.

I forgot to mention:

Today, April 9th, is National Chinese Almond Cookie Day. Here are two different recipe's for you to try today (almond cookies &.... almond cookies).

Today's words are:

abecedarian \ay-bee-see-DAIR-ee-uhn\, noun:
1. One who is learning the alphabet; hence, a beginner.
2. One engaged in teaching the alphabet.
3. Pertaining to the letters of the alphabet.
4. Arranged alphabetically.
5. Rudimentary; elementary.
I am not nor do I want to be an abecedarian, you can tell just by reading my blog. :)

pluvial \PLOO-vee-ul\ adjective
1 a : of or relating to rain *b : characterized by abundant rain.
2 of a geologic change : resulting from the action of rain
If you live in the Northwest and the pluvial climate "dampens" your spirit then you are living in the wrong place.

Easter pictures

I was so excited to run into to Jeremy and Lisa Sunday morning at church. I just had to get a picture with her 5 month belly. Doesn't she look adorable?
Here are some pretty daffodiles outside my sister's house that were just looking so perky and pretty for Easter.
here is the beautiful setup my sister had for our Easter lunch.
My sister made roast with roasted potatoes and carrots...yum!

We also celebrated my sister's birthday (it's on the 10th). You are not only a wonderful sister but a fabulous friend! Love you sister!
Lori, Sam, and I

Spring is so here! There ain't no denying it now. :)

Just another Friday lunch from Paris...

Linda paying for our lunch...
...while I check out all the yummy desserts.

Here is our new co-worker, Brandon Gentry. What a grumpy guss, I don't know if I'm really going to like working with him...

Oh, wait, I got him to laugh, I think I like him again.
Welcome Brandon! We all love you and are excited for the fresh blood,er...I mean your smiling face at our meetings! :)
Well, I've missed this whole week. Sorry guys. Here is what fun national food days you have not been able to enjoy because I've been a slacker. :)
First, you should know that April is National Soft Pretzel Month. Haven't had one of those in a long time...mmmm

Monday (April 2nd) was National Peanut Butter and Jelly Day.

Tuesday (April 3rd) was National Chocolate Mousse Day.

Wednesday (April 4th) and Thursday (April 5th) were sad days because there was nothing to celebrate (but it makes me feel better cause then I didn't make you all miss out on as much as I thought I had...phew!)

Today, Friday (April 6th) is National Caramel Popcorn Day. YUM!

And you should all be aware that tomorrow, April 7th, is National Coffee Cake Day. Another yum!

Okay, I've also been taking a lot of pictures lately so I'm going to share them with you (especially since I know that everyone loves to look at pics)
