Dinner at Holli's

Check this out...My friend Holli made me dinner on Saturday night and boy was it good. It was pork chops and pears wrapped up in a cresent roll, roasted broccoli with olive oil and spices, and a fabulous salad. If you look closly at the picture, you can see that she even put my initial on one and her initial on the other, how creative is that? Actually I know the answer to that question...VERY! Oh, and she even made a little apple and pear crisp, but we were both so stuffed that we couldn't eat it. She packed some up (along with another pork chop cooked with a yummy bbq sauce and cherries) for me to take home. She really outdoes her self. Makes me look bad. When I had her over last time I made a salad. Boring! Anyway, thank you Holli, the food was fabulous (as usual) and the company was refreshing. You are one great friend!

Also, just a couple of my regular mentionings:
Yesterday, April 25th, was National Zucchini Bread Day. Oh yum!
Today, April 26th, is National Pretzel Day. I love passing the pretzel place in the mall cause it always smells so delicious! Next time you pass Aunt Annies stop and grab a pretzel and tell them you're celebratin' (or you could just make your own).
Word of the day:
"Fabulastic"
Something so phenomenal that neither fabulous or fantastic would suffice to describe it.
"Oh my goodness, Beks, the shirt you got on Friday looks just fabulastic on you."
Phrase of the day:
"break your crayons"

Make you very upset or sad, or ruin your whole day.

"Dude, don't worry about him, he's just tryin' to break your crayons. Just let it slide."
Word of the day that Tabitha is not sure she likes yet:
"chillax" or "chillaxin"

1. To chill and relax simultaneously.
2. To loosen or reduce the level of stress by employing a more relaxed and groovy outlook.
"Hey, chillax! It's all good."
"This weekend I took it real easy and was just chillaxin' from Friday night to Sunday night."

I don't have a new word for you today but I think chillax can be used on occasion.

Oh my, I love zucchini bread!!! I am so glad there is a day just for it. Now I am making myself hungry for it. Thanks for the new words Tabitha, they are cool!
